SANDS OF FORGIVENESS

A story tells that two friends Peter and Paul, who were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and Peter slapped Paul in the face.

Paul, who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. Paul got stuck in the quicksand and started drowning, but his friend Peter saved him.

After Paul recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.

Peter asked him, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?”

Paul replied “When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND

AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.

    @ gillboard
You are right, kadalasan mas inaalala pa natin ang atraso ng ating kapwa kesa sa naitulong nila sa atin. Salamat sa pagdalaw.

    @ A-Z-E-L
May isa pa akong gustong ipaalala sa iyo, alam mo ba na nasa dictionary ang salitang "break", "relax" at "rest. Super sipag mo sa PEBA and you still have time for your blog and read and comment on other peoples' blog. God bless you.

    @ RJ

    @ Mr. Thoughtskoto
Thank you for believing, di ba yun ang tama. Pero ang ginagawa ng iba ay baliktad, they carve their hurts in the stone, and write the benefits in the sand". Best regards to your family.

  17. Amen! I totally agree. Let's forget the "hurt" aches, let's cherish the sweet moments.

Very nice advice here bro. have a nice week end!
