The Promise

God has not promised;
Skies always blue,
Sun without rain.
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.

But God has promised;
Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way.
Grace for trails,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy;
And an undying love.

  1. Phuuuu, phhuuuu and pepeng WENT away...Maganda mag blow ng bagyo ang mga Pinoy. and by the PEOPLE's prayer, it blows the storm to move a bit higher and less destructive.

    God is merciful.
    He promised to saved His people.
    He kept His words.

  4. 'The Promise'

  5. That's what make us different among races in times of disaster. Religious doctrines and faith almighty ingrained in our psyche optimism and hope that we can afford to smile and carry burden in stride inspite of unsurmountable bad luck. We will survive!

  6. This is a classic hymn that we should continually play even after we've breathed from Ondoy's wrath.

    "God hath not promised smooth roads and wide" but He did give us hope and love and faith.

    @ Life Moto

    Thank you for believing.

    @ Mr. Thoughtskoto

    Natawa ako ng hanapin mo yung song... but I am glad your back... mukhang naapektuhan ang net connection mo ng bagyo, hahahaha.

A blessed morning to you.

    @ BlogusVox

    You are right, WE WILL SURVIVE, our faith will give us the courage to overcome these calamities, the rain will never dampen our spirit as one race to move forward and help one another in the midst of the storm.

    @ Everlito (ever) Villacruz

  16. Pope sabi nga kaya may positibo kasi may negatibo, kaya maya maganda kasi may pangit.

    It is how we see life?

    Ingat Pope!
