Tonight, March 28, 2009, at exactly 8:30 p.m. local time,
millions of people are joining together committed to Earth Hour 2009,
and turning off their lights for one (1) hour
to help make a difference and raise awareness
about the issue of global warming.
Remember - turn off your lights!

Iconic buildings ranging from
the United Nations headquarters in New York City,
the Eiffel Tower in France, the Acropolis of Greece
and the Pyramids of Egypt will all go dark for the event.

Here in Qatar, Qtel supports this year's Earth Hour
as part of its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
The company will switch-off every light in its imposing Headquarter Tower in West Bay.

Experience a 60-minutes of darknness for a cause.

"Do not defile the land where you live and I dwell."

  1. 'Earth Hour'.

I hope the world can do it daily, not just for a day (in a year).

  2. Yes, I do agree with you my friend RJ, kung nakasanayan lang sana nating pangalagaan ang ating kalikasan, hindi na natin kailangan ng iba't ibang awareness programs to remind us on the issues of global warming.
