CREATIVE OUTBURST - A MANIPULATIVE SOCIAL ANGER

Angelo "Boyet" Fajardo, Fashion Designer

Fajardo's flare-up, which was caught on a surveillance video, triggered public ire when the footage was uploaded on the popular video sharing site YouTube.

In a bid to diffuse the outrage amid calls for a boycott of Fajardo's products, Ricky Rivera, Fajardo's spokesman, defended the fashion designer's behavior as a result of "creative outburst."

"As a fashion designer, as an artist, sometimes he has creative outbursts maybe because of the fatigue he felt at the time of the incident," Rivera said.

While I cannot find the exact definition of "creative outburst" (as mentioned by Ricky Rivera) to describe the videos shown on You Tube and ABS-CBN, I took the freedom of describing this new emotional outrage.

CREATIVE OUTBURST'S EXTERNAL EXPRESSIONS:

  • Unnecessarily pointing an accusing finger (a common mannerism of lawyers, Senators and Congressmen)
  • Making people kneel before him even outside the Church (An act of contrition by the faithful requested by religious leaders - eg priest, pastors, etc.)
  • Yelling, uttering offensive words and threatening (further medical research required due to absence of audio recording from available video sources).

CAUSE/S OF CREATIVE OUTBURST:

  • Long haul flight - "Galing pa ako sa long haul flight.."
  • Fever - "May fever ako nuon..."
  • Starving - "Hindi pa ako nakakain..."

POST EFFECT OF CREATIVE OUTBURST:

  • Memory Loss - "Wala akong maalala"... "di ko sya dinuro"...

CREATIVE OUTBURST RELIEF - BOOK OF PROVERBS' BIBLICAL DOSES

"A quick-tempered man acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hated." (14:17)

"He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is quick-tempered exalts folly."(14:29)

"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."(15:1 )

"A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension, but a patient man calms a quarrel." (15-18)

"Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city. " (16:32)

"A hot-tempered man must pay the penalty; if you rescue him, you will have to do it again. " (19:19)

"Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared." (22:24,25)

"Anger is cruel and fury overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?" (27:4)

"Mockers stir up a city, but wise men turn away anger." (29:8)

"An angry man stirs up dissension, and a hot-tempered one commits many sins." (29:22)

  3. when i seen the news yesterday, wow shock ako sa attitude nya. it reminds me of some katutubo dito sa gitnang silangan. ok lng mga katutubo alam mo mahina ang IQ nila. di tulad ng isang kapwa mong pinoy. i hope this could be a lesson not only for him but also those same like him.
    Nice one Kapatid!

  6. Wow, The Pope! This is a very creative post on Creative Outburst! o",)

  7. I'm impressed. And amen to your post and to your bible verses.

You truly, and I don't mean this negatively, deserve the term The Pope. Pinapahanga mo ako the way you evangelize through your posts.

Yung excuses ni Fajardo are very, very lame. Mahirap talaga kapag nagiging tanyag ang tao. Lumiliit ang tingin nya sa iba. It's good that this happened, at least alam na nya kung saan talaga sya nakatayo.

  9. Masyado ngang over yung reaction ni Fajardo. May fever nga siguro siya, to the verge of delirium. That's probably why he thought he was a God that you needed to kneel in his presence. Hehehehe!

  10. Hi Pope, I should have read your post before I commented on X-Spot and Nebz' posts on a similar topic... I was really fuming mad when I heard about what this unknown Fajardo (it was only in his imagination na kilala cya) did to our poor kababayan... I apologize for calling him a wild pig and a dog...oops... for calling him worst than a wild pig and a wild dog...

Nagkumpisal na ako...at nagsisisi... Basbas na Pope... :)

  11. We are all humans and anger is part of our natural emotions, but anger must be expressed in an assertive and controlled manner.

But if your blood boils after minor irritations —an anger that's out of proportions and out of control can be destructive, leading to problems in your relationships, at work, in your enjoyment of life and with your health. You could even be arrested or face other legal problems.

Umagang kay ganda sa inyo mga kaibigang Jessie, Lord CM, JoShMaRie, RJ, Nebz, Ron Centeno and NJ of Desert Aquaforce (the moment you think about God and his forgiveness - at that very moment, you, you're sin/s are forgiven- repentance brings us closer to Him).

"My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires." (James 1:19-20)
